How cast recognition is made
Fine cast awards are made with lost wax casting, the same centuries old method used for museum quality sculpture. A wax model is formed from your design, encased in a mold, and replaced with molten metal, capturing fine detail like portraits, textures and lettering. Each piece is then hand finished and given its patina, so no two are exactly alike.
Typical timeline
Most cast recognition takes about 4 to 12 weeks from approved design, depending on size, detail and finish. Cast bronze plaques often take 4 to 6 weeks, while sculptural cast awards can take 8 to 12 weeks. Sabrina will confirm your timeline at your first consultation.
